Jacob Markstrom to Miss Extended Time — Dustin Wolf Called Up

The Calgary Flames announced today that Jacob Markstrom’s injury during practice yesterday was a broken finger. The 33-year-old first-string goalie left the ice after taking a shot in the hand area of his right (blocker) side.

The 6-foot-6 netminder is considered week-to-week in regards to a timeline to return to the lineup.

Wranglers goaltender Dustin Wolf has been recalled from the Calgary Wranglers.

Markstrom is 6-8-2 on the season with a 2.95 goals against average and a .896 save percentage.

Wolf is 0-1-0 in the NHL with a 4.02 save percentage and a .895 save percentage. In the AHL, his record is 10-3-2 with a 2.50 save percentage.
