Power Play Units Adjusted Heading into Tonight’s Clash With Vegas — UPDATE

UPDATE: Per the Flames, Jacob Markstrom is out tonight due to a bout with the flu. Dustin Nickel has been signed to an amateur tryout agreement and will backup Daniel Vladar tonight.

Per Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg, here are the power play units that practiced this morning.

PP1: Kadri, Huberdeau, Lindholm, Sharangovich, and Hanifin

PP2: Backlund, Mangiapane, Zary, Ruzicka, and Weegar

We see Rasmus Andersson getting an opportunity to take a step back and observe how things operate from the bench. Potential July 1 UFA Noah Hanifin slots in and gets a chance to shine on the first unit.

With the Flames potting only one power play goal in their last 29 opportunities, a shake-up was due.
