Winnipeg Jets at Calgary Flames [Game 22]

Published

on

The Calgary Flames are looking to regain a share of first place tonight at home as they take on the Winnipeg Jets. The Flames are 7-3-0 in their last ten, but just cannot seem to shake the San Jose Sharks who seem to win every time the Flames do to regain first place. A win tonight would give the Flames a first place share until at least Friday.

There will be no changes to the lineup tonight. Austin Czarnik and Michael Stone will be healthy scratches in this one while Mike Smith backs up David Rittich. The Flames only have 22 men on their roster at this point as Dalton Prout was sent to the AHL for a conditioning stint with the Stockton Heat.

The Jets should prove to be a tough test for the Flames. They come into tonight’s game with a better points percentage and better goal differential than Calgary. With a victory, the Flames will have the most points of any western Canada team. Which team will reign supreme?
