Fireworks Erupt to Conclude 3-2 Flyers Victory Over Calgary Flames
There was no shortage of drama in Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon in what concluded a 3-2 Flyers win over the Calgary Flames. Following a Flames timeout with only 3.8 seconds remaining in the third period, Calgary forward Jonathan Huberdeau kicked off a sequence of chaos that would have been better suited in Philidelphia’s former arena, The Spectrum.
An NSFW warning for the more apt lip-readers out there.
We got some rough stuff to end todays game. Fitting as this has happened after a lot of whistles.

Surely not how Offensive Coach Marc Savard drew it up.
While the Flames may have left Philidelphia’s current arena, The Wells Fargo Center, without any ground made in the standings, the group can hold their heads high for sticking up for their teammates. A brilliant .929 save percentage performance and a breakaway goal from Jonathan Huberdeau stood out as other positive notes as the team now heads to Chicago for another matinee matchup to conclude a four-game road trip.
