One more game, then it's over until the fall.

Unless you count the NHL Draft and free agency, then there'll be just a little rest for the Calgary Flames.

Tonight, though, the Flames host the San Jose Sharks: the last game of the 2022-23 season for the former and second-last for the latter, who'll travel to Edmonton to face the Oilers tomorrow.

Both will miss the playoffs. The Flames were eliminated when they lost on Monday to Nashville, while the Sharks have been out of the post-season picture for a while now. San Jose is in line to gain a few extra balls in the Connor Bedard draft lottery by finishing near the bottom of the NHL standings.

Of note for the Flames: Dustin Wolf will get his first career NHL start in net tonight. The club's top prospect has been the best goalie in the AHL this season with their affiliate, the top-ranked Calgary Wranglers.

Forward prospect Matt Coronato, who signed with and joined the Flames when his U.S. college season with Harvard ended last month, will also draw into the lineup.

The game will also mark what will likely be the final time Milan Lucic suits up in Calgary silks. Other Flames players set to become unrestricted free agents: forwards Trevor Lewis and Nick Ritchie, and defencemen Troy Stecher and Michael Stone.
