Andrew Mangiapane skated with a main group on Monday for the first time, alongside newcomer Nazem Kadri. Joining them in Group B was prospect Matthew Phillips, who had a great game in Vancouver.

Is veteran sniper Tyler Toffoli in for a career year on a line with Huberdeau?

WSH: As Connor McMichael stands in the Washington Capitals dressing room, he looks — and sounds — like a different player.
