Flames sign G Chad Johnson

The Flames have signed goalie Chad Johnson (age 30) to a 1 year 1.7 million dollar contract.

Chad Johnson went 22-16-4 over 45 appearances (40 start) in Buffalo last season with a .920 SV% and a 2.36 GAA.

Over 101 career appearances (80 starts) he has gone 50-30-11 with a .917 SV% and a 2.39 GAA.

This puts the price tag for the Flames goaltenders at 4.2 million dollars for the season.
