There was once a time when Max Reinhart was one of the Calgary Flames‘ better prospects. Since the rebuild began, though, he has quickly fallen behind on the depth charts, and it’s gotten to the point where there’s virtually no hope for him. After all, the 23-year-old would have to pass guys like Josh Jooris, Markus Granlund, and Bill Arnold, and at this point, it’s just not going to happen.
Reinhart looked like he could be a player, but it simply wasn't happening for him. He got in 23 games with the Flames over three seasons, scoring one goal and four assists, but that was it. His ice time steadily dropped, and the writing was on the wall.
We'll update this post when we learn just what the conditions of the pick are. In the meantime, farewell, Max; hopefully, you'll make the NHL in Nashville.
