Flames Development Camp Starts Today

The Flames begin their annual development camp, open to the public, today at Canada Olympic Park's Winsport Arena.

Group A will start daily at 10:00 a.m. (except for July 16th) and Group B will hit the ice at 2:00 p.m. today. There will be two scrimmages featuring all players on July 13th and 15th.

Along with the 33 prospects that are property of the Flames at camp, the organization has invited 11 other players to make their case in front of the decision makers. Noel Acciari, Austin Carroll, Brody Hoffman, Josh Jooris, Curtis Leonard, Trey Lewis, the Abbotsford Heat’s Drew MacKenize, Dan O’Donoghue, Linden Penner, Bryce Van Babrant and Pavlo Padakin, who just finished his first year with the Hitmen, make up this year’s list of invitees.
