A suddenly red-hot Minnesota Wild team will be visiting the Scotiabank Saddledome looking for their fourth straight win on Tuesday night in what will be a battle of two teams seeking to redeem their poor start and crawl back into the playoff picture.
With 1A starter Jacob Markstrom unexpectedly dropping out of the picture due to a hand injury sustained during Monday’s practice, the Flames will ride a duo of Daniel Vladar and rookie Dustin Wolf until the 33-year-old recovers.

Pysyk clears waivers
Sherwood Park-born Mark Pysyk cleared waivers on Monday and will report to the Calgary Wranglers. The 31-year-old played eight games with the Wilkes-Barre Penguins this season before being released from a 25-game AHL Tryout Agreement.
