Hani-Finally! Flames sign Noah Hanifin to 6-year deal
The signing came just weeks before the start of training camp

The Calgary Flames announced Thursday night that they have signed RFA defenceman Noah Hanifin to a 6-year deal worth $29.7 million dollars, with an AAV (Average annual value) of $4.95 million.
Hanifin, 21, was acquired along with Elias Lindholm as part of the blockbuster trade that saw Micheal Ferland, Dougie Hamilton, and prospect Adam Fox head to Carolina this summer.
Hanifin is now the second highest paid Flames D-man after captain Mark Giordano (AAV $6.75 million).
