The Calgary Flames are back in action on Monday night with the St. Louis Blues in town. Meanwhile, the NHL trade rumours are hitting the high season and another Montreal Canadiens defenceman is on the list.

As for the Flames, they went from the high of crushing the Florida Panthers at home on Thursday to falling to their top rival in Edmonton with a loss to the Oilers on Saturday. On Sunday, defenceman Oliver Kylington talked about the ups and downs the Calgary Flames have experienced lately.

“We’ve gone through some stretches where we’ve lost maybe some details in our game, but I’ve thought we’ve really been working hard in getting that back in our game, and I think we’re trending in a good way,” Kylington said.

“At the same time, you want to win games,” Kylington continued. “I thought we did some good things (Saturday), but it’s hard to sit here today not having the win. We have to still improve and get better in the small details of the game that can be a difference-maker for us.”

No changes to the lineup are expected against the Blues, with Jacob Markstrom tabbed for the start.
