The Morning After Winnipeg: SUCCESS!

The Flames PP got off the ground, finally, against the Jets.

The Morning After

Calgary Flames 3 – Winnipeg Jets 2

RecapNHL Standings

-Froese First: Byron Froese scored his first goal as a member of the Calgary Flames last night, which gave the team a 2-1 lead. The marker was also the first time he scored since March 6, 2018 when he scored as a member of the Montreal Canadiens.

-FINALLY, A PPG: The Winnipeg Jets really have had the Flames number when Calgary has been on the power play. Coming into tonight the Flames were 0-10 in their last 10 tries against Winnipeg and were 0-1 until Elias Lindholm buried the game winner on the PP late in the third period.

-Not A Good Place To Land: The Winnipeg Jets may want to bypass Calgary and land somewhere else. The Flames win last night makes their record 8-2-0 in their last 10 against Winnipeg at the Scotiabank Saddledome when hosting the Jets. The good news? The remaining four games against Winnipeg are in Calgary this season.
