The Flames needed goals today and Andrew Mangiapane was more than happy to contribute. The Flames forward recorded the first hat trick of his career today in the Flames 6-4, come from behind victory over the Anaheim Ducks.

The Flames were down 3-1 at one point, but came roaring back, in part, thanks to Mangiapane’s effort. If not for his final goal of the day, the HOTN would probably have been his beautiful back hand goal where he out-waited Ryan Miller and ripped the back hander past the Ducks keeper for his second of the day. But there’s no way his empty net goal to secure his first career hat trick wasn’t taking home the prize!
