Who’s On The Ice Tonight?

Only one change to the Flames lineup tonight for their home opener against Vancouver.

Projected Lines

The only change to the Flames lineup tonight is Dalton Prout being inserted into the bottom D pairing with Juuso Valimaki as Michael Stone slides up to take Travis Hamonic’s (injury) spot with Noah Hanifin.

James Neal remains on the third line, which is slightly peculiar, considering his NHL status, but that could change as the game progresses. He played well with the top unit, which would be a good place to put the NHL veteran seeing he’s an 11 year vet with 400+ points. Maybe his play will spark a bottom 6 that didn’t offer much help in the Flames 5-2 opening night loss to the Canucks Wednesday night.
