Fan Poll: Should The Flames Retire Jarome Iginla’s Number 12?

With Jarome Iginla officially retiring from the NHL today, there’s only two things left for #12:

The Flames only have 2 retired numbers in the Saddledome and those belong to Lanny McDonald (#9) and Mike Vernon (#30). While both Lanny and Vernon were each MAJOR reasons why the Flames won their only Cup back in 1989, you have to think that #12 will go down as the greatest/most important player in Flames franchise history. While Iggy never won a Cup in his career, he is synonymous with the Calgary Flames.

So, here’s a soft ball for all of you: Should #12 be permanently retired and hoisted to the rafters of the Saddlesome? Vote in our poll below!
