MarkParkinson14: (F) Look, Glass is what he is and he wasn’t brought in to be a goal scoring machine. He was brought in to bring some toughness to the Flames lineup, but more often than not he was a healthy scratch. Glass only got into 16 games this season and in those 16 games, he only collected 19 PIMs. Glass spent part of the season (21 games) in Stockton and that should tell you all you need to know. This move did nothing to hurt the Flames, but it also did nothing to help them.

MGMacGillivray: (D-) The only reason he isn’t an F is because he went out and got his face punched by Milan Lucic to stick up for Mike Smith for also getting his face punched for Milan Lucic.

MilhouseFirehouse: (F) Not that much was expected of Tanner Glass from the day he arrived, except maybe some “truculence” (can we stop using that one now that Burkie’s gone?) and a few timely drops of the mitts. It can be debated whether he was successful in that department, but what shouldn’t be is that if that’s all he’s expected to contribute, he shouldn’t have been around anyway.

RenuSahota: (B) Tanner has to play smart and be a step ahead. He never did get the right chemistry going with his teammates at either level he played, bouncing between Calgary and Stockton. Near the end he brought the grit and hard play behind the net. He was essential to the lineup when bad boy Tkachuk was on IR. He’s a hard worker and great for team morale.
