For a team that really needs wins to get into the playoffs, the Flames don’t seem to be optimizing their current roster on the ice. Then again, Calgary is without Micheal Ferland and Kris Versteeg, so who knows.

The Flames bottom 6, outside of Mark Jankowski, is pretty rough for tonight’s contest if these lines hold true. BUCKLE UP!

Jon Gillies will hop back in net after getting the night off against the Colorado Avalanche. Gillies is 2-1-0 in his 3 starts and has looked like the better keeper since Mike Smith went down.
