Preseason: Flames/Oilers Preview & Lineups
The pre-season kicks off tonight
Itโs been a long wait but Flames hockey is back today as the Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers open up their respective preseasons. It has become an annual tradition that these two teams start their preseason with split-squad games against one another. Both puck drops will be at 7:00pm MT, and both will be streamed on the Flames website in the local area.
Matthew Tkachuk will not be dressed in either game as the team takes precautionary measures after leaving yesterdayโs practice with minor hip issues.
