Preseason: Flames/Oilers Preview & Lineups

Itโ€™s been a long wait but Flames hockey is back today as the Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers open up their respective preseasons. It has become an annual tradition that these two teams start their preseason with split-squad games against one another. Both puck drops will be at 7:00pm MT, and both will be streamed on the Flames website in the local area.



Matthew Tkachuk will not be dressed in either game as the team takes precautionary measures after leaving yesterdayโ€™s practice with minor hip issues.

Not really a whole lot more to say about tonightโ€™s games, but hereโ€™s the lineup for the Flames in both cities:
